Walk-In Visits

Effective September 4, 2018, The Maryland Pediatric Group is happy to announce walk-in hours for the convenience of our patients and their families.

Walk-in hours/quick sick visits will take place Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on a first come, first served basis.

Walk-in hours will replace the early morning call time but if prefer a scheduled appointment, please call the office beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Weekday Walk-ins FAQ

Walk-in hours are for “quick sick” routine, straight-forward health problems for children over the age of three months. Examples of “quick sick” problems include:
  • Sore throat
  • Earache
  • Cough
  • Fever
  • Rash
  • Runny nose
NOTE: If your child is experiencing vomiting or diarrhea, please call our office for further instructions. This type of appointment is not best served during our walk-in hours.

During particularly busy times of the year, you may have a wait. Therefore, we encourage you to come as early as possible during walk-in hours.

When walk-in hours are full or if your symptoms do not meet the above criteria, you will have the opportunity to schedule with one of our other providers on the same day.

We will not have walk-in hours on the following days:
  • New Year’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Day After Thanksgiving/Black Friday
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Eve
Walk-in hours may be limited or unavailable during inclement weather events. Please call the office before coming to ensure we are opened.

Lab services such as vaccinations, allergy injections, and PPD testing are availalable without an appointment Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm and Saturday 8:30am-11:30am.
